We expanded the campaign to include a popular Wellness Program, designed to engage and prepare participants ahead of the final marathon. The P2P team gathers weekly at Riverdale Park for wellness exercises, fostering a sense of community, motivation, and shared purpose. P2P has been part of the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon (STWM) Charity challenge fundraising event since 2013. It is one of the key fundraising events where our supporters commit their time and resources. This year (2021), thanks to the 20 extraordinarily committed fundraisers, P2P has achieved its target and raised $50k for the first time in its STWM fundraising history. We are so grateful for all who take part in this year’s fundraising campaign.
Beside the fundraising event, we also had a community wellness campaign where our supporters met every Saturday at Riverdale Park for a couple of hours warming and exercise sessions. The sessions served as a moment refreshing our minds and spirit and also strengthening our network.
